Second and third marriages now comprise more than 40% of all marriages in the U.S. (Fl Dept. of Vital Statistics 1997) and the percentage is increasing each year.
The Singles' Ministry of Christ Church is for step and blended families. These vital families are no longer unusual in our society. We understand that you may have either adopted a child or are contemplating marrying someone who already has children. In some cases, the future spouse and children may be of a different culture or ethnicity. This step/blended family unit brings with it a unique set of issues and obstacles that single persons typically do not face. Few things remain the same when you make the transition from a primary family to a single-parent family to a blended family. Within the space of two or three years, many people take those quantum leaps.

Grow personally by focusing upon topics such areas as; step-parenting skills, time alone, dealing with racial issues, money management, coping with change, remarriage. This is accomplished through specialized workshops and seminars, with guest speakers that have specific experience and knowledge in these areas. -
Build healthy relationship in a Christ-centered environment with people that can provide a network of peers, to help with shared parenting, mentoring, encouragement, and adult conversation. We value emotional, physical and spiritual safety in all the activities that we offer. -
Build a greater intimacy level with the Lord Jesus Christ like never before. We take particular interest in your spiritual life, by providing in depth biblical insights into topics that affect your journey everyday. Such topics as; divorce and remarriage, dealing with guilt and shame; dealing with sexual sins, and marriage issues. Many of these topics are covered in private support groups, or in specialized conference workshops.
There are so many issues that face single adults today. We've designed this page to contain helpful articles and resources that can bring encouragement, motivation, and personal growth.
