About Us
The primary focus of the Singles' Ministry is to provide a safe place for Christian singles to fellowship with other singles in a Christ-centered environment that promotes relationships, and marriages within God's timing.
We are a growing ministry that serves over 500 singles of different ages, cultures, ethnicities, and social economic levels, engaged in a process of growing personally, socially, spiritually, and intellectually.
We're excited to be able to help you grow in your faith as a Christian single adult by:
-
Providing fun-filled, age appropriate activities that promote friendships and networking capabilities. -
In depth discussion groups which deal with intellectual stimulating topics that address current issues that effect singles today. -
Social functions that promote healthy relationships that enables you to learn about yourself and others of the opposite gender. -
A stable spiritual environment that provides the single person with spiritual grounding of biblical principles.
Regardless of your single status, we want to welcome you! We define a single adult as one who is legally single, rather than one who is currently in the process of divorce or separation.
If you are going through the process of divorce or separation, we want to encourage you and provide you with a roadmap to possible reconciliation. Christ Church offers pastoral counseling as well as recommendations of other counseling professionals in the area.
If reconciliation is not possible, we suggest a transitional period of healing during which we strongly recommend attending DivorceCare or an alternative divorce recovery program.
After a transitional period, the Singles' Ministry wants to help you get plugged in.
If you would like to be included on our email or mailing list and receive occasional information regarding upcoming events and activities, or information pertinent to the life as a Christian single adult, please feel free to contact us at singles@christchurchusa.org.
