Please note that all Ministry activities are held at the Cathedral in Montclair, NJ unless specifically noted otherwise.
The Young Adults Ministry was created to adequately care for and provide relevant ministry to the young adults within our congregation from 18 to 29 years old.
Our Vision To build strong, Christ-like, emerging leaders for our emerging culture.
Our Mission The Young Adult's Ministries will remain people-focused. Its mission is to teach and train maturing adults to integrate their faith in God and biblical principles into every area of their daily lives. This will be done through:
Discipleship Young adults will learn what it means to be a follower of Christ and a doer of His word.
Spiritual Formation Young adults will be taught foundational practices which build people up in their most holy faith.
Character/Integrity Development Young adults will understand that it is essential to be consistent in their conduct and not to live a life marked by situational ethics.
World-View Young adults are taught various aspects of the formulation of a world-view and come away with the foundation to pledge allegiance to the biblical world-view.
Knowledge of Scripture Young adults develop a solid working knowledge of scripture and be able to share where particular scriptures are with others.
Life Application of Scripture Young adults learn how to apply biblical principles in the difficult situations of life.
Adult Life Assessment Young adults are challenged periodically to take inventory of all of the various aspects of their lives, then make the necessary adjustments to achieve their life-goals.
